About us

Vission & mission

At its core, BiOBUDDi has always been an eco-friendly toy company. The commitment to sustainability has become a part of the DNA of the family business.

Our vision:

Build a better tomorrow!

Our mission:

Making products that are safe and do not harm the environment that we live in.

CO2 Neutral

BiOBUDDi searched for a resource which absorbs carbon dioxide, a resource which is recyclable and usable for the production of toys. BiOBUDDi discovered these traits in sugar cane plants.
These plants absorb carbon dioxide to grow while turning it into oxygen. The side stream of this sugar cane processing can be used to create bio-ethanol, this is a kind of alcohol used to create green polyethylene (Green PE). This polyethylene is compounded in Germany on the basis of its own patented formula. It forms the basis of all BiOBUDDi's renewable plastic products. BiOBUDDi products have a positive impact on CO2 emissions instead of a negative one.

BiOBUDDi considers the entire life cycle of great importance. Not only the production phase but also the final phase of a product is closely examined. Materials that BiOBUDDi uses to make its products can be recycled. It differs per country whether products are actually recycled. This is a constantly changing and innovative process. If our products are not recycled, there is still a positive CO2 impact.

BiOBUDDi is friendly to the environment. production process cycle use and waste phase of BiOBUDDi products are entirely eco-friendly. at this moment our main basic material comes from sugar cane plants unlike oil a sustainable resource. we reuse portion that remains in processing cane. forms basis natural developed compound biobased. biobased those derived other renewable resources as opposed non-renewable materials such petroleum. can prove its through din certco certification recognized testing company TÜV Rheinland.

Made in the Netherlands

BiOBUDDi originated in the Netherlands. To ensure the quality we check the production process from up close. This is also one of the reasons that the toys are produced in the Netherlands. Our process is guaranteed of respect for the earth and people on it. In order to have the production process entirely in our own hands, it was decided to produce everything ourselves. The entire development of the product takes place with love from the Netherlands. The Netherlands is a beautiful country that values quality and environmental friendliness. We would like to make the message of building a better tomorrow known worldwide throughout our products.

BiOBUDDi is committed to build a better tomorrow, and for this reason, develops and make eco-friendly products

Sustainable use of sugarcane

BiOBUDDi makes its products mainly from its own biobased raw material. The most important part of this rcw material is Green PE. This material is made from ethanol which comes from a side stream of sugar cane processing. Brazil is the world's largest sugar cane producer. Approximately 50% of the sugar cone processed is used to make sugar, with the remaining 50% used to make ethanol. Brazil's sugar cane cultivation is concentrated in the country's Center-South region. There is no expansion of sugar cane planted creas in the rainforest or the Pontanal Wetlands.

Let’s have a positive impact on the planet!

BiOBUDDi is committed to build a better tomorrow, and for this reason starts producing sustainable and eco-friendly toys made of new biobased materials.

Regulators increasingly warn of unsafe toys that fail to meet safety requirements. The checks have been tightened with more recalls as a result. The desire for eco-friendly and safer toys is greater among parents, according to research.

Our new “green” biobased toys are derived from plants, not oil. We also do not add any oil-based chemicals during the manufacturing process to “enhance” the performance or color of our product. All extra product materials are eco-friendly. The products are manufactured in the Netherlands.
